原收錄於Highway 61 Revisited專輯。這首歌敘述著一場超現實的
夢魘，成功地塑造了一個保守、冬烘、和環境格格不入的Mr. Jones
角色。這首歌問世之後，年輕人便以Mr. Jones來比喻那些不知變通
、價值觀念保守、活在舊世界裡的人，他們無法理解身邊的事件，
然而自己的世界和價值觀都已經被扭曲，眼裡看到的盡是惡夢般的
景象，心中充滿焦慮，卻又無計可施。此刻就在舞台之下，Dylan正
面對著成千上百的Mr. Jones。這是一首直接唱給他們聽的歌，可惜
大部分觀眾的耳朵仍舊是關閉著的。

這首歌的編曲比專輯中的版本更沈痛、更悲傷、更無路可出。鍵琴
手Garth Hudson的表現值得細細品嚐︰Dylan每唱完一段歌詞，
Hudson便彈奏出一小段樂句，兩人一來一往、遙相呼應。「某件事
情正在這裡發生但你不知道那是什麼！」……Dylan激動地唱著這
句歌詞，挑釁著台下那些不滿的群眾。
